Sagar Sawali Ladghar Beach Resort Review Rating: ⭐⭐½ (2.5/5) The only standout feature of this property is its prime location right by Ladghar Beach – truly the best thing about this resort. However, the overall experience was not value for money considering the price they charge. Pool (2/5): The swimming pool was not clean and could definitely use better maintenance. Rooms (2/5): We stayed in Deluxe Rooms with Balcony. While the balcony was spacious and had a nice view, the rest of the room was below average. The washroom had a leaking jet spray, which was inconvenient. Service (2/5): The service needs a lot of improvement. A couple of disappointing instances: They charge ₹800/day for an extra person but provided a thin mattress, whereas other rooms were given better mattresses. They only replaced it after we pointed this out. When we reported the leaking jet spray, they suggested shifting us to a Cottage for one night and back to the room the next day, which was quite inconvenient for us, so we declined. On Day 1, we requested milk for our infant, and it took 6-7 hours with multiple reminders to get it delivered. Food (2/5): The taste of the food was below average (we had only Vegetarian food), with very limited options in the complimentary breakfast. Location (5/5): This is the only saving grace of the property. The beach view and peaceful surroundings are perfect for a relaxing getaway. Final Verdict: Despite the great location, the overall experience fell short due to poor service, below-average rooms, and lackluster food. With the rates they charge, the resort needs a lot of improvement to justify the price. Would recommend exploring other options nearby unless they improve their services.

Best place to visit during monsoon. Full of rains and scenic view from top. Visiting again to stay in a special room. Had lovely Surmai and Prawns fry. The breakfast was quite good. Best poha I had.

Property is exactly same as shown on their site. Beach is accessible, pools is big enough to enjoy by all age groups. Food is good, service is bit slow by not trublsoom. Cooperative staff.. best place to stay near Ladghar n Dapoli.

Food is really very costly. We have visited this hotel hoping that they would serve authentic konkani food however, our experience is really disappointing. Konkan is famous for fish delicacies hence we have ordered surmai and what they served is no where near to Surmai Fry. We have ordered Birde (val usal) which was also worst. Location is good but they need to really improve their food quality.

Sagar Sawali Beach Resort is a lovely seaside property with beautiful sea views and a very peaceful cottage setup. The cottages are well spaced, comfortable, and perfect if you want a calm, relaxed stay by the ocean. One big highlight for us was that the resort is truly pet-friendly. Even the housekeeping staff were friendly and affectionate with our cats, which made us feel very welcome and at ease as pet parents. The resort offers direct access to the beach, which is a huge plus, along with a nice swimming pool to unwind. We were staying here for a wedding, and the property worked out perfectly for both the event and relaxation. Overall, great cottages, great location, and a peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place for families, pet parents, and anyone looking for a quiet beachside stay.
