I visited Shivam Abode about 2 years ago but there was no Google Maps entry at the time to leave feedback which is why I am leaving a review now. I had one of my best weekends here. Everything was just lovely. Although its not far from the Hustle and bustle of Alibag, it's nestled quietly near the foothills. The natural Brook flowing through the property that swells up during the monsoon adds charm. I like that the main building has been re used instead of being a new construction. The food made by the cook here is amazing. Breakfast or lunch, everything was a delight especially sitting to eat outdoors or on the balcony. So many little places one can trek to from this property. There is rain water fed, clear lake a short Hike up the hill behind the property that one must visit. If you walk up the steps to the temple on a nearby mountain, you can see the ocean reflecting the sunshine in the evening. Sunset is a beautiful sight from Halfway up the mountain to the temple. The icing on top of the cake however is the owner, Shekar who is one of the most affable and friendly people I've met. I only wish I had more time when I planned this trip. Definitely going to visit again and for a longer duration.
SSS has been a home away from home for quite a no of years. This time the owner excelled my expectations. His private villa with a pool was a relaxing and i had a good bonding time with my daughters. Early morng trek to the lake energised me. Food was yummy and staff was courteous. Look forward to another trip.
This was the 3rd time we stayed at SSS homestay. We were a group of 12 and hence booked The Villa. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The property is beautiful. Each bedroom had attached bathroom,Wc.The living-room also had attached common toilet. There was also a in-house swimming pool to chill. The villa's interior is elegant and with very positive vibes. Rooms are hygienic n clean. Food served was very good. Breakfast buffet was also enjoyed by our guest ,specially chicken spicy toast .We had veg ,nonveg and popti ( veg n nonveg) at night . That was enjoyed by all our guest. Our guest could not stop appreciating the food ,villa and hospitality of Sarita n Shekharji. The staff is also very helpful. Suju's Art cafe gives u additional opportunity to learn new art with her DIY kits at nominal cost. Overall it was a memorable stay n strongly recommend villa stay if u have group of 6 to 15.
Nice place for home stay. Amidst nature. Hosts very kind and helpful. Food is fresh and home made. There is also a cafe on the premises which is a cool place to spend time in and once again the food is excellent. Moreover it is Pet friendly which is very important to me.
Wonderful place! All the rooms are unique, no room is like any other. They also have multiple places for having breakfast, lunch etc. Best available accommodation is a set of rooms with an indoor pool. Window nets all around and hence very limited insect issues. Veg and non veg food was tasty.
