Beach is hardly 2min from the hotel. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Food is very delicious and there is a area in the middle of the cottages to enjoy music and other things. The owner was very kind and polite

Rooms excellent. Resort well maintained. Had bought fish from Harnei for cooking. Authentic kokani fish cooking and solkadi was superb. Must stay with Family. Beach is 5min walking distance.

If you are looking for a peaceful homely feel stay, outside your home than this is the place. When you are accompanied with kids and senior citizens and get home cooked food outside home is just a bliss. My kid is struggling with autism result he is a picky eater and thanks to Veena ji out of her comfort zone she provided what he likes that's truly amazing. About location, it was good, beache is hardly 100 mtr away, beach is also clean surprisingly and less crowded as well. We visited there during feb first week.

Had visited today for lunch, they took our per order yesterday, thought the food would be delicious but I was totally wrong we ordered 2 kingfish and 1 pomfret thali, the king fish was very thin and was tasting rubbery, the pomfret was ok ok but then we made another mistake of ordering a single piece pomfret fry which was totally raw, 370 rs more wasted… the curry didn’t had coconut milk in it.. gave two stars for solkadhi and modak, won’t recommend at all. DISAPPOINTING 😕

We have been visiting Palavi cottage since almost 12-15 years with family and friends whenever we got an opportunity for a quick vacation. We have seen positive, constructive and thoughtful changes every time while maintaining the same quality of comfortable & hygienic stay. Best Food + Best Homestay Every dish was a flavor explosion! The Seafood thalis stole the show, and the freshly baked modak, ghawane, amboli, solkadi for breakfast was pure comfort- Must try. The portions were generous, the ingredients ultra‑fresh, and the love in every bite was unmistakable. A warm, immaculate space that feels like home. The rooms are spotless and the balcony view of the garden is Instagram‑ready. Host "Cholkar family" went above and beyond—always ready with local tips, a hot cup of chai, and a smile. The food deserves a special mention — absolutely delicious homemade meals, and the fish fry was simply outstanding, fresh and perfectly cooked. The rooms and the entire property are very clean, neat, spacious, and well maintained, which made our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing.
