We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view from the hotel was amazing - we could hear the sea and see the beautiful beach. The outdoor area was great for relaxing with a cup of tea or coffee. We enjoyed the food, especially the Pomfret and Modak dishes. The rooms were a bit old, but very clean. The hotel's location was perfect - close to the beach and not too crowded. We highly recommend this hotel.
Superb location and tasty food with beach view. Perfect place for a weekend picnic with family and friends. Food is very tasty. tried both veg and non-veg items. Staff is very prompt and generous. Overall a great place to visit.
One of the best place, I visited to konkan Food is delicious with authentic konkani taste. Sea side view blow your mind with mesmerizing sound of waves along with moon peeking through your window
Been coming to Kinara since 1996. Thats 30 years every year. From ₹400 a night its now ₹4000 per night in 30 years. Food is still top quality. Rooms could do with better housekeeping. Fitments corrode due to salty air. Just like in Mumbai n Chennai. The gazebo still offers the best view and value for money. Wifi in the gazebo is 140mbps download and 150mbps upload. Vodafone and Jio connectivity is not continuous but then I've come here to get away from work. So no issues. Its a family run hotel and unlike others who serve everything from gobi manchurian to paneer lababdar, Kinara does what it does best. Konkan cuisine. I plan to come back here for many more years.
Superb location right next to the beach and that’s the biggest highlight of this place. You can literally hear the waves and enjoy the sea view while eating. Food is the real star here. Over our 3-day stay, we tried Prawns Fry, Paplet Fry, Prawns Biryani, Methi Fry, Amboli, Dadpe Pohe, Aloo Paratha, Upma and Modak, and everything tasted fresh and well made. Both veg and non-veg food were consistently good. Staff is prompt, helpful and quite generous with service. The outdoor seating is great for relaxing with tea or coffee. Rooms are decent and clean but the property does feel in need of renovation, and WiFi is not very dependable. Since mobile network is also weak in this area, that can be a downside. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back weekend with family or friends, especially if good food and beach views matter to you.
Nice place. Rooms are neat and clean. Beach is in Walkable distance. No any rush on beach. Food test is an average. Breakfast is yummy. for dinner and lunch you can go outside lots off options are there. Hotel staff is polite to much supportive for any need.
