Silica Beach Resort

The stay is at a peaceful location, just 2 minutes away from the beach. The owners were incredibly sweet, and their hospitality was wonderful. The food we had here was delicious, and I highly recommend dining here during your stay.

I was there for 2 nights Hotel was very clean nice place and beach is only 50m from the room and direct way to beach. Hotel owner Krishna mestry is very helpful , cooperative and food test was very good. Hotel is located at Tarkarli near emission factory there is share auto available from Malvan st depot at 20 Rs. per passenger, 100 Rs.for direct and 500 Rs. from direct kudal railway station it will take 1hrs. All water sports ,scuba diving , bike on rent (350Rs. per day) you will get directly here, overall this is very good hotel for family.

We had a marvellous stay at Silica Beach Resort , Wonderful interiors , superb ambience , and hey , some fine dining too. Gives a very private and secluded feel. Breezyyyyyy....shady...the beach was merely a 100 meters away. What stands out though , is the super service and hospitality provided by the owner himself , Mr. Krishna Mestry. Wow ! A very down to earth, calm & polite person. Must recommend the hotels food which is available at a very reasonable price. Sea food....? Ufff....Bangda , Surmai , crabs , Kombdi Vadi ,Sol Kadhi and chilled beer.....ummmh, my only qualm is that we could not extend our stay, i wish i could. I tell you..Silica is the place if youre visiting Tarkarli.

Rooms are new and clean but not cleaned daily if you stay for long duration. Owner himself is all rounder for service, sweet tongue, fools customer if you use too much electricity. Location is not near the beach but a remote place, no shops around, no proper parking. Look around for other places before finalizing this one.

Stayed for three days by reading so good reviews on net. But nothing like that. Food is not good. Served morning food in evening. Refused to make food when there is bigger group came(the group never returned second tine for eating there). Never customized even one veg for our 3 our old son (as claimed by other people). Rooms are small and unclean. In all aspect its very unprofessional leave homely stay. The owner is just talkative and like to talk big things to sound nice.

Not just good place to stay in malvan but the best place to stay.... good service... good food(according to your choice of food they will give you)...all rooms are having AC...nice people are resort owner... and the net and clean beach just behind the resort in 5 min walking distance... feel like home
