This is a home stay with beautiful scenery, the hospitality here is like a home... the owners themselves take care of you... and the rooms are very clean and natural like a home in Konkan....

We just returned today from a comfortable homely stay at Sarvoday Eco Homestay. Owner Shri Rajan Venkatesh is very soft and warm person. He is very well read and knowledgeable person. It was our pleasure to have chat with him on various topics. He is always ready to offer his help for anything needed for the guests. We had a great stay at this serene eco homestay !!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarvoday Eco Homestay. There are two double occupancy rooms that provide basic, clean facilities (like hot water, fresh towels and linen) that ensure a comfortable living experience. There is also a common verandah with a communal dining table that provides a great setting for meandering conversations over cups of chai. Food can be sourced easily from the town and the owner can provide recommendations for eating out as well as ordering in. But besides providing these basic facilities, what makes Sarvoday really stand out as a homestay is the passion and commitment on part of its owner to encourage a turn towards a slower, ecologically grounded and sustainable living experience. Sarvoday Homestay is located in a village on the edge of a pristine forest that is only 2.5 kms away from the charming town of Sawantwadi. The setting is one of fields and forests. The deep silence is something to be experienced, interrupted only by the chirping of the birds in the morning. The cottages are all made of natural, organic, and locally-sourced material which besides being aesthetically pleasing are also comfortable to live in. The owner – Rajan Venkatesh – is also an organic farmer and is commercially cultivating cashew, coconut, kokum, black pepper and areca nut, besides growing various herbs and vegetables for his own consumption. Upon request, one can also organize a visit to his farm which is beautiful and is home to an immense biodiversity that is typical of that part of the Konkan belt. Over the years, Rajan has accumulated a lot of experience regarding the various biotic and abiotic elements that symbiotically enable the rich ecosystem evident on his farmland. Talking to him and meeting him has truly been an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this place. At the same time I realize that experience would most likely resonate with those who have an appreciation for a slow, leisurely holiday experience.

We had great 2 days stay here at Sarvoday Eco Homestay. It's like return to our roots and values, stay which is close to nature in every sense. Owner is very humble and warm person, had tasty homemade food. Clean rooms, budget stay and close proximity to Sawantwadi City. Hoping for next visit soon❤️

Sarvodaya was such a wonderful experience. Mr. Rajan (the host) is a very down to earth and helpful gentleman. Place is clean and green, food is home cooked and delicious. Environment is warm, welcoming and homely. We plan come again to this beautiful abode.

It was an excellent and very different experience. I stayed here for one night here in May 2025. It was early rain that night. The homestay is close to nature. Host Mr. Rajan stays there, he is a very kind, welcoming person. It was nice to hear his passion about farming. Vegetarian home made food is available on pre-order. Overall a nice place to stay. It is 2.5km from the main market.
