Rivercoast Resort

We truly enjoyed our stay at Rivercoast. It is a beautiful and peaceful property, perfectly located away from the city’s hustle and bustle, with beaches nearby. The staff was warm and attentive, and the food was excellent. The decorations for our special occasion were also beautifully done, making our stay even more memorable.

Rivercoast Resort was one of those places that immediately made me slow down the moment I arrived. Set between the calm Karli river on one side and the Devbaug beach on the other, this property is truly surrounded by nature — something I absolutely love about my travels. Our mornings began with the most peaceful sunrise views over the river. The soft light, the quiet surroundings, and the gentle breeze made it the perfect way to start the day. And by evening, we would simply walk across to the sea-facing side for a completely different mood — the golden sunset melting into the water. Getting both sunrise and sunset in one stay felt so special. The resort stays true to what they promise — a space “designed for rest and repose.” My cottage was comfortable, the ambiance was soothing, and the whole property has this wonderfully serene energy. I also enjoyed the little touches: private beach access, a swimming pool, greenery all around, and plenty of open spaces to just sit and soak in the views. And the food! They serve delicious authentic Malvani cuisine, and every meal felt homely, fresh, and full of flavour. The staff were warm and attentive, making the stay even more memorable. If you’re looking for a peaceful coastal escape where the river meets the sea, Rivercoast Resort is a beautiful choice. A perfect spot to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience the charm of Malvan at its best.

I recently stayed at River Coast Resort, Devbag, and overall my experience was good with no major complaints. The resort is beautifully located on the river coast, and the beach is at a walkable distance, which makes the location very peaceful and scenic. The resort, rooms, cleanliness, and overall ambience are well maintained. Water sports activities are available, and there are multiple sightseeing points (around 12) that can be covered from this location. A big plus is that boat rides are available directly from the resort. It is a private boat (only for your group, whether 2 people or up to 10). The charge we paid was ₹5,000, though I heard some guests paid around ₹4,000 — so the price depends on your bargaining skills. Food: Non-vegetarian guests will definitely enjoy the meals. For vegetarians, options are limited, which may or may not be an issue depending on individual preference. Important tips for travelers (especially vegetarians): Carry some eatables like dry fruits, fruits, and snacks Carry your regular medicines Availability of fruits nearby is limited A doctor or medical store is not easily available; for medicines, you may need to visit Tarkarli Health note: I experienced vomiting during the boat ride, so people who suffer from acidity or motion sickness should take precautions beforehand. Overall, it’s a good place to relax, enjoy nature, river views, beach walks, and water activities. With a little advance preparation, the stay can be quite enjoyable.

We had a wonderful two nights stay at River Coast Hotel. The service was truly top notch  the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was absolutely amazing, and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared. I was traveling with my aunt and uncle, who are senior citizens and they were taken care of with great attention and kindness something I truly appreciate. Special mention to Rajiv Sawant, who was our server, his recommendations were spot on and the personal touch he added to every interaction really made our dining experience memorable. The rooms, though wooden are extremely well kept and beautifully maintained adding to the charm of the stay. The property itself is stunning, with lovely view of the river that make the experience even more peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was a beautiful stay with excellent hospitality.

A resort on the Karli river overlooking Mini Kerala full of Coconut trees where nature's music constantly makes sure there is a smile on your face while the soft sun caresses your skin and flushing it to a beautiful pink. Rivercoast is a perfect natural picturesque getaway for someone who has been craving to spend some time in fresh air overlooking the most stunning view enjoying great food. I have not enough words in my vocabulary to truly express how amazing the food was. The Thalis were amazing. Each and every food time that we consumed was beyond excellence. The service is quite prompt from check-in/check out to getting things sorted in your room. All the staff members are extremely courteous, polite and go out of their way to help accommodate your special requests.They helped us select the proper boat rides for sightseeing, set us up with a good driver to commute and gave us a very good boat rider(Mr Moreshwar) who not only gave us apt information about all the placs we saw but was quite friendly as well. As female travellers the first thing we look for is safety and from staying at the resort to travelling and co-ordinating with the people the resort connected us with it was extremely safe and comfortable. I would like to thank Prajakta especially as she helped arrange a very special surprise for my sister's birthday month celebration.There was a smalll mishap with the cake but she quite efficiently and within no time fixed it as well and our celebration was amazing. A special thank you to Prathamesh and Yash for the smooth check-in/check out and for being helpful with our requests while staying in the resort. I would definitely be staying only in Rivercoast everytime I visit Devbaug as it has got me the peace I was searching for quite a while.

we stayed in Aura rooms, The location of this property is too good. Was here for Honeymoon trip and this place made me feel was a right choice to visit. Rooms cleanliness and facilities amazing. The Sunrise is superb. Food was good Service every one was awesome Prajakta from reception was very helpful and cooperative. She arranged a date setup in front of our room on request, which made our trip just awesome. kudos to her efforts. The resort area is good spent time. There was complimentary boat ride for us, However we upgraded the same and took extra points to visit, which was super worth, both Sea ride and rive ride just another level. Just awaiting on the postcards we wrote there, its a good activity but yet not reached to our loved ones. kindly do so would be more awesome. will visit there for sure
