Mountain View Cottage

Hey Rahim here The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great rooms and mountains view . The breakfast buffet was delicious The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

We recently stayed at Mountain View Cottage for 2 days. It's a home stay with tin based cottages on the first floor. The rooms are equipped with AC's,TV, clean bathrooms and proper beds. We were the only ones there so we had the pool to ourselves. The owners were very co operative and patient with us they gave us speaker to play by the pool. There is a common area for breakfast with fridge available. I only want to give one suggestion to keep a water container as there is nothing within 2kms and it gets tough if you don't have a vehicle. Overall our stay was really great.

Had such a nice stay at this cute little cottage in Alibaug. The area is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a chill getaway. The people are super warm and welcoming, and the food was honestly amazinggg-every meal was delicious and made with so much love.Would totally visit again!

The mumbaikers the mountain view cottage resort is just home stay which is done above with the help of containers. No doubt the manager was good but to stay in container couple should not prefer has we step then sounds come in down room n also we can't be open up wen some unknown person is there to watch us in pool. We booked on photos bt then we cancel wen we actual arrived.

I recently stayed at this place, and it was a huge disappointment. The experience did not match the expectations set by their marketing or promises. First off, the food was pathetic. Not only was it bland, but some of the dishes seemed to lack freshness. The hygiene standards in the dining area were also questionable—plates and utensils didn't seem properly cleaned. As for the stay itself, the room I was assigned was nothing like what was shown in the photos. It felt outdated, and the amenities were far from what I was led to believe I’d be getting,the bathroom had a persistent musty smell. It was honestly a struggle to feel comfortable. Overall, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone. There are far better options for the price they charge, where you’ll actually get the quality and service you expect.

The hotel has rooms located on the first floor while the owner stays on the ground floor. The owner was very polite and cooperative throughout our stay, which was a big plus. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The swimming pool was not well maintained, and there were too many rats, frogs, and insects around the premises — even in the pool area. The rooms were quite small and could have been cleaner. On the positive side, the price was reasonable for the location, but the hygiene and maintenance definitely need improvement.

Excellent place with decent rooms and pool. Owner with was very pleasant, gave us space and freedom. Pool was nice and well maintained. Very good value/cost ratio. Doesn't do much in terms of food, consumables etc. You'll need to blinkit whatever you want though.
