Peaceful Nature Close to the Beach !!! Wow !!! We had a really great experience at "MayekarWadi" family-only homestay. It’s very different from the usual stays and feels truly authentic. I had always wanted to show my kids the real beauty of nature, completely different from urban life. They were really excited to see things like cattle, hens, organic farming, water irrigation through a well, tall coconut trees, and the nearby beach. The food was amazing. Konkani dishes that were absolutely delicious, especially if you love fish and seafood. This stay made us feel truly connected to nature and the real world. We were pleasantly surprised by how close the beach is. It’s just a 2-minute walk from the homestay and feels almost like a private beach, very peaceful, natural, and not commercialised at all. The owner, Mrs. Gauri Mayekar, is a very warm and caring host and takes great care of her guests. I would highly recommend !

Had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The property is family-only, which makes it very peaceful and comfortable. The food was simple, fresh, and delicious — prepared on demand. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk to the beach with a private entry from the property. Host Gauri is amazing — she takes care of guests just like family. The surroundings are full of greenery, making the stay even more relaxing and refreshing. Highly recommended! 🌿🌊

Peaceful stay. Close to nature. Amazing host. Tasty homely kokani food. I enjoyed every minute of stay at mayekar wadi. Spread across 5 acre, it gives ample space to enjoy the scenic beauty. If you want to a peaceful homestay which is close to nature, a minute distance from the beach, lovely kokani food and fishes this place is for you. Gauri is amazing host and she will make sure you're comfortable there. I went with my toddler and trust me my toddler was out enjoying the birds chirping, butterfly and the sea.

We had a memorable stay at 'Mayekar Wadi' homestay. Rooms are very well designed keeping the travellers comfort into consideration. We didn't face any single difficulty even though we were travelling with our two small kids. The hosts make u feel at home. U get to experience every bit of village life which takes u closer to the nature. The beach (almost like a private one) is not too far. The rooms are neat and clean. They serve you simple, local but delicious food on demand. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Mayekar for a refreshing holiday. We will definitely visit again.

An excellent experience close to nature...! We have just arrived from this place just now after a 2 nights' stay finding it to be an ideal destination for those who r searching for a combo of tastiest food and serenity. Gauri, the owner, doesn't seem to be tired for the whole day in providing high value services to her home stay customers from pin to piano. Mayekars have a vast property spread over an area of 5 acres which makes the place a real heaven on earth. Food, either veg or non-veg, is just extra-ordinary. To conclude, a worth experience...!!!
