Loris Homestay

Rooms are compact and just ideal for a night stay. What we didn't like was the owner was not accommodating for any of our requests. We reached in the evening after good long day bike ride and getting drenched in rain. Requested for 2 buckets of hot water to take bath but owner denied our request for the same. Asked the same to be provided early morning before we leave, even then it was denied by the owner. Asked him to provide some tea before the dinner and again came the answer "not possible". So disappointed that the owner was not inclined to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we were just asking for basic stuff.

Rooms are not clean, the place is far from any hotels or restaurants. Not suitable for family stays, do not book the stay Do not pay advance before checking the property, you will never get your refund if you cancel after seeing the property.

Fantastic service from the owner, made sure we got around to see the beautiful area. Also made sure to have a romantic and perfectly good Christmas Eve oth Dinner and bonfire in the jungle. Thank you so much, very friendly and open!

Never pay advance to this homestay and book it. Rooms are not same as shown in the image. We booked 3 rooms in October by paying 1k advance, after seeing rooms we decline to stay there due to ugly and not maintained rooms. I asked for refund, initially owner was telling some stories like I don't have money, I'll pay you in tomorrow, everytime when I call the story was same. But now he is not answering my calls at all. Don't book these rooms, it is a scam, rooms are too smelly, not maintained, even you don't find any restaurant near by. Owner sits somewhere else, he'll coordinate with some third person.

Please DO NOT book the stay. The owner is a fraud, he took advance money from us and never returned it. He replied on the review asking to reach out and provided the number however the same story again, he stopped responding after the first call. We booked three rooms by paying advance amount before reaching the stay, once we reached the so called care taker made us wait 45 minutes to come and open the rooms. Once he got there and showed us the rooms we realised it wasn’t the place for us. There are three rooms in an isolated place. The rooms were horrible, unclean toilets, stinking bathrooms, and some old inner wears were scattered all over the rooms. We forgot to take the pictures as we were in a hurry and tired from all the travelling. Since we were a family we decided not to stay here for the night and conveyed the same to the owner, he agreed to return the advance amount. We trusted him with that and stayed in a different place. It’s been three months since then he hasn’t returned the money nor is he answering the calls. DO NOT book the stay or pay any advance money to the owner.

I recently stayed at Loris Home Stay, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon arrival, it was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. There were dust and stains on the furniture, and the bathroom was in poor condition with visible grime. It was very off-putting, and I expected much more in terms of hygiene and upkeep. The staff was polite, but the lack of attention to cleanliness really affected my overall experience. I hope they address this issue, as the location and potential are great, but I cannot recommend it until the rooms are properly maintained.
