The sea view from the room is surreal! The best part is the food!! They serve the best authentic konkani food. Do not judge by the shack, Anand is the name of the cook. He is extremely co operative and cooks the best konkani veg and non veg food.

Don't waste your money on this property. Neither rooms nor property is of worth. They charge hyping amount for cottages however they do not provide any service. No TV, no intercom and no one attends your concern once it is raised. They don't even provide you blankets and towels. The cottage is very small and no basic amenities are provided. Distance matters the most since it's very far from Vengurla and remote. Don't expect anything from the staff since they are least interested in taking a feedback and ready to argue over anything. I hope this review will atleast help someone who excepts peace of mind on their vacation and not suffer. A big NO for Kays by the Sea. Fancy names will not help to get business but service do.

Clean Resort, But a Complete Scam on Promised Amenities & Value (July '25) My stay in July '25 was deeply disappointing due to a major failure in promised service and value. While the resort's physical facilities were good, the overall experience was ruined by management's negligence. On the positive side, the rooms were very clean and in good condition, and the swimming pool was well-maintained and enjoyable. However, the cons severely outweigh these points: Access: The trail leading to the rooms, which was within the hotel compound, was a mucky, off-road mess that was completely unmaintained throughout our stay. Value & Service Failure (The Dealbreaker): The price of ₹5000 per night was excessive. Staff tried to justify this high rate by specifically mentioning they needed to fuel the generator to ensure power during potential night outages. This was a lie. Over the three nights we stayed, the electricity went off every night, severely disrupting our sleep, and the generator was never turned on, not once. Charging a premium for a guaranteed backup service and then failing to provide it is unacceptable. The value is not worth it at all if guests are forced to spend the day recovering from sleepless nights. Management needs to address this serious integrity issue.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The location is beautiful, calm, and perfect for relaxing away from the city noise. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well maintained, with all basic amenities provided. The cook Aanand deserves special appreciation. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic taste. Every meal felt like home-cooked food with a perfect balance of spices and flavors. The presentation was neat, and the quality of ingredients was clearly visible in every dish.

The beach and the sea are great. Everything else is mediocre and the food is third rate. There is no service. Go here only if there's no other option.

Only we liked food and food service was very good & also it's prompt service , otherwise nothing to say because huge room but no use & it's very hot , unnecessarily there was a kitchen platform which is no use , there was no room service , very bad experience ....

My second visit here and the experience was as delightful as the first. Great beachfront location at Shiroda, relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly staff. Watching the sea while enjoying a good meal is what makes this place special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a laid-back beachside experience.

We stayed at Kay’s by the Sea for 3 days ^ 2 nights, and the location is absolutely beautiful. The beach is calm, serene, and away from the usual crowds, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were helpful, and the property itself is well maintained. However, the entrance needs improvement. The front gate signage is poorly visible, and there is no proper lighting at night until you reach the parking area, which can be inconvenient, especially after dark. The biggest drawback is the food. It is managed by a couple near the shack and swimming pool, but the quality was disappointing. After trying the food three times, we decided to eat outside. We also shared this feedback with the front desk. Overall, the place has great potential because of its location, but better signage, lighting, and food quality would significantly improve the experience.
