House on Waves

🔴 Serious privacy and comfort issues🔴 This place has almost no sound insulation. Even normal conversations are clearly audible in adjacent/attached rooms. Toilet and bathroom noises (including flushing, bathing, etc.) from neighboring rooms can be heard very clearly, which is extremely uncomfortable. Sleeping peacefully is nearly impossible. Guests in the adjacent room played loud music late into the night, and due to poor noise isolation, we could not sleep at all. Since the entire floating structure is made of wooden blocks, it constantly creaks and makes noise. 🔴 Restaurant service is extremely slow.🔴 If you are vegetarian, then this place is a big disappointment. Vegetarian guests are treated poorly, food is brought cold from elsewhere, and then served without care. There also seems to be malpractice regarding GST. They are not running a full-fledged restaurant and do not provide a proper GST invoice, yet GST is added to handwritten bills for home-cooked food. Foolishness. Overall, the experience at House on Waves was very disappointing. Not recommended.

Amazing stay with amazing view. Only drawback is that this property doesn't have a generator, so in case of a power cut, guests are left without electricity. Overall this place deserves a five-star!

The best boat house I have ever stayed on. The bedding was heavenly and the ventilation is also good. They offer Air condition as well as standing fan. The food offered here is very good we had non veg cuisine and vegetarian too. I was surprised that the vegetarian food was up to the mark too. I mean just wow.... The landscape here is just breathtaking. All the watersports activities are nearby.

I enjoyed my Stay here with my parents from 26th December 2021 till 29 December 2021. The place is on the banks of the river Karli, quite peaceful, pollution free, and in the midst of nature. The hotel staff and the management is co-operative, supportive and great at hospitality. They are very kind, polite and helpful in all the aspects. The cleanliness was also found to be good. They serve only Breakfast and snacks, lunch / dinner is not being served here. You need to check out nearby places for lunch / dinner.

Stayed for one night in December 24. Yes, found what we waited for since long. Simple but charming. Cosy and quiet. Best place to relax. Owner is soft spoken and enthusiastic. Staff are very cooperative and prompt. Breakfast was just fine and tasty. Though don't serve meals, there are many restaurants very nearby. Must visit and stay..... And to enjoy.

It's good property.. but the railing present outside of the room need safety.. it's open so quite risky for small kids..otherwise it's good stay option..
