Our stay at Hotel Mango, Sawantwadi (Goa) was a terrible experience. We were in Goa for a friend’s wedding and booked this place for just one night. The moment we arrived, we noticed there was no parking and the entrance area was dusty, with no fan or AC—it looked neglected and poorly maintained. The room itself had a fan and AC, but still felt unclean. The only decent thing was the bed, which was just okay. In the morning, we asked for hot water, and after a delay, thick black water suddenly started coming from the shower while my husband was bathing. The same thing happened from the basin when I tried to wash my face. We even took a video and informed the staff, but they didn’t take any responsibility or offer a proper response. We couldn’t freshen up and had to leave immediately for another hotel. It may be a cheap option, but it’s absolutely not worth the discomfort or hygiene issues. Highly not recommended—especially for tourists and foreigners. Spend a little more and stay somewhere safe, clean, and reliable.

Rooms were good but the service provider did not know we had booked online..had to wait for almost 15 min. Even the restaurant people weren't informed about our breakfast.

Hotel is in absolute disaster condition. I walked in like my usual stay here, but place was looking like deserted. There was no water connection, rooms, property not maintained like earlier. No one at reception to answer, had to go to there kitchen area to get answers. Great location, pathetic maintenance. Hope to see it back in action like it used to be. Thank you!

I had booked it online for my elderly parents. Checked with the staff beforehand if there was proper hot water and everything due to some bad reviews, to which they replied that everything was there. But after my parents checked in the issues started... The poor parking space, room was shabby, there was no hot water, poor service, and rude staff. Absolutely not recommended....

Worst hotel i have ever visit. Reception staff is arrogant. Room are not clean. Not proper lights. Tv was not working. I hate this hotel. If you are planning to book this hotel then please don't. Totally third class hotel

The dining experience at this hotel was excellent. The food was well prepared, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a wide selection of dishes to choose from, including classic Italian and international cuisine. The atmosphere was comfortable and the restaurant was kept clean. Prices were reasonable and there were plenty of options for vegetarians and those with food allergies or dietary restrictions. Overall, the food and service were excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel for dining.

Good local breakfast. Location is very good. Close to the lake and market. Hotel is also pet friendly.
