The rooms were very clean and spacious... The food here is very tasty both veg as well as non veg... Good place to stay and eat... Rates are reasonable...

Excellent experience of stay. Food served at the hotel is fresh and tasty. The staff is really good especially nyanesh was very helpful. The hotel owner Mr. Lad and their family made us feel very comfortable over there. Thanks alot.

Good place, nearest ST depo (Sawantwadi). Clean rooms stay for 2 days. Quite place. Also you can have lunch/dinner in same hotel, famous for his malwani fish dishes. Veg thali is also good.

Excellent Stay at Hotel Audumber Deluxe, Sawantwadi During our recent trip to Konkan, we stayed at Hotel Audumber Deluxe in Sawantwadi for two days, and it was a delightful experience overall. This hotel strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and a taste of local charm. Located right in the city center, the hotel boasts an ideal location with the bus stand right behind and the main market right at the front. It’s perfect for exploring Sawantwadi’s highlights, including the famous handcrafted wooden toys, which are a must-buy souvenir. The hotel offers both AC and Non-AC rooms, catering to various needs. Our rooms were neat and clean, with equally clean bathrooms—a crucial factor for a comfortable stay. The staff’s service was exceptional, always attentive and eager to assist. While our stay was pleasant, the mosquito issue at night did cause some inconvenience, and we recommend the hotel take steps to address this for an even better guest experience. A standout feature of the hotel is its in-house restaurant. The food felt like a warm, homemade treat, and we especially loved the Veg Thali, which was delicious and satisfying. Though we didn’t try the non-veg options, given the quality of the veg meals, we’re confident those would be equally good. Verdict: Hotel Audumber Deluxe is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and centrally-located stay in Sawantwadi. With excellent service, clean rooms, and tasty food, it provides great value for money. A little improvement in mosquito control would make it an even better experience. Highly recommended for families visiting the region!

Pros: - Budget-friendly hotel with good accessibility to key spots like Moti Talao, the market, bus depot, and Sawantwadi Palace. - The owner is warm, approachable, and pleasant to interact with. - Staff is generally helpful and attentive when approached. - Rooms are spacious and reasonably clean for the price point. Cons: - At check-in, the helper staff tried to sell us a drinking water bottle for ₹20. Providing water is a basic expectation, especially for an AC room priced at ₹1400 per night. When questioned, the staff member changed his explanation and said it would be provided only because we booked an AC room, which was disappointing. - Bedding was not clean. The pillows in particular were dirty, and we chose not to use them. - Staff begins loud conversations from around 7:30 am onwards. The staff room or storage area is right next to the guest rooms, which leads to significant noise and disturbs sleep. - No hot water in the hot water tap in the bathroom. But the staff got us hot water in a bucket when requested. Overall, the hotel may work for solo travelers or short stays on a tight budget, but due to cleanliness and noise issues, I would not recommend it for families.
