Gharat Cottage

Highlight was home cooked delicious food by Mr.Sanket's (Owner) mother.

I stayed at Gharat Cottage for 3 days and the experience was awesome.The place is conveniently located near the city center about 2-3 Kms away. The closest beach is Thal Beach. The cottage has 2 rooms, one with AC and another with no AC. Both rooms have beds. There are 2 balconies. The front balcony is used for dining. There is ample space to park your car. They even allow pets. The owner Sanket is a very polite guy, ready to help all the time. His family is also very helpful. He lives on the ground floor. The homemade food they serve is delicious. My nephew and his friend liked the chicken thali. Fish thali was not available that time. I am vegan but the veg thali was equally good especially the aamras. Apart from thali, if you request them to cook something for you, they will happily do it. For whatever you need while you are staying there, Sanket is just a call away. He even arranged a return cab for us to Pune. I will surely stay at this place again whenever i am in Alibaug.

Very nice Hospitality, very clean and big rooms with nice balcony it's a really good place for family and couples. and the best part is local home cooked food is available if you want to try which we felt very tasty. Also according to our personal experience the family which is taking care of that house are very welcoming and amazing people.

Very nice and comfortable home stay. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Calm and clean place located on first floor. Having one bedroom, one hall, outer balcony, separate bathroom and toilet. Suitable for family.
